Last month, our team put together a kick-ass fitness event where we brought a fast paced, heart-pumping workout courtesy of our friends and event partner BOXHAUS, to the beautiful 2nd and PCH grand opening in Long Beach. Our mission was to deliver the exposure 2nd and PCH retailers needed by hosting an event on-site where attendees would get to experience the unique, partner-focused layout of the BOXHAUS workout while also engaging with awesome local brands and introducing them to fellow wellness enthusiasts. The intention was to build strength – both in muscle and in community.
Our team of marketers used an innovative blend of various marketing tactics for this particular fitness event. This included influencer and experiential marketing as well as strategic partnerships with national, crowd-favorite brands like Lululemon, Nike, Nekter Juice Bar, and Gorjana.
When faced with how we wanted to approach influencer marketing for this event, we knew it would be critical to make sure every person, every intention, and every experience was genuine. So, we carefully hand picked each wellness influencer to make sure their digital identity was in alignment with the fitness event and that they would represent our brand message, as well as our partners brand messages effortlessly.
The end result? A sold-out fitness event where attendees and passerbyers at 2nd and PCH got to ignite their Sunday morning with a boutique style workout outdoors, build comradery with their teammates during the workout and network with new, smiling faces after the workout, and 2nd and PCH retailers getting mass exposure with both in-foot traffic and digital hits to their social media accounts.
